Blue Suede News #34 (Spring 1996) features an extensive article about Bob Keane and his Del-Fi record label and also a story about his greatest discovery Ritchie Valens regarding "the basement tapes". Bobby Fuller and the Bobby Fuller Four were also famous recording artists at Del-Fi and here is the story about the Texas boy that revived the Buddy Holly sound soon after Buddy's death. Randy Fuller took over the Fuller Four. Speaking of Buddy Holly, there is a review about the famous Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake Iowa and the yearly music festival there. Performers included the Crickets.
